Beckman Coulter Chemistry FSE - Ukiah, CA (Diagnostics)

Location: Remote from the United States, with field service travel primarily in San Francisco and Ukiah, California

Salary: $37.00–$40.00 per hour, plus potential bonus/incentive pay and housing allowance

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair Beckman Coulter diagnostic equipment.
• Service automation, immunoassay, chemistry, urinalysis, clinical IT, microbiology, and/or hematology platforms.
• Provide efficient customer service and technical product training.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal records, order repair parts, and meet required service cycle times.
• Use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and team coordination.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and help train newer Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic, and/or instrumentation equipment.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight within the territory, primarily in San Francisco and Ukiah, California.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modification, and/or service repair experience.
• Experience developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and improving customer satisfaction.
• Technical college major in biomedical technology, engineering, or a related field.
