Location: Onsite at 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, Massachusetts, with occasional remote work

Salary: $126,100–$204,732.50 per year

What you will do

  • Manage outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions related to oncology diseases and treatments in collaboration with physicians.
  • Provide anticipatory guidance, patient and family education, and psychological and emotional support.
  • Prescribe schedule II–V controlled substances within Massachusetts authority.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, institutions, and partner agencies.
  • Apply critical thinking and research principles to improve care quality and advance clinical practice.

Requirements

  • Massachusetts authorization and licensure are required for the applicable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role.
  • Nurse Practitioners: nationally recognized certification approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, a master’s degree in nursing, and 24 pharmacotherapeutics contact hours.
  • Nurse Practitioners: at least one year of oncology nursing or Nurse Practitioner experience, plus Massachusetts Department of Public Health and federal DEA numbers.
  • Physician Assistants: master’s degree, completion of an AAPA/NCCPA-accredited program, NCCPA certification, Massachusetts licensure, current DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance licenses, and required CME.
  • PA experience levels range from no professional experience for PA I to five years of qualifying experience for PA III.

Nice to have

  • Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience.
  • Oncology nursing certification such as OCN, AOCN, CPON, BMTCN, or CPHON.
