Localization Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Kitchener, Canada

Annual base salary: CAD 57,750–75,000

What you will do

• Coordinate multilingual content delivery and support localization and product release schedules.
• Identify localization gaps, troubleshoot translation issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.
• Project-manage end-to-end Course Package Translation Service delivery, including new translation deals and localization requests.
• Develop and track translation quality programs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create, document, and refine SOPs, FAQs, blog posts, and Known Issue and Fixed Issue articles.
• Use AI-assisted authoring, summarization, and translation optimization tools while validating accuracy, quality, and consistency.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing human and machine translation, post-editing, and localization projects.
• Fluency in at least one language other than English, such as Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic.
• Experience with GitHub and Translation Management Software.
• Familiarity with content management systems and learning management systems.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus the ability to use data tracking tools.
