Senior Linguistic Innovation Specialist

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver multilingual and regionally adapted content.
• Own linguistic projects end to end, including intake, planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and follow-up.
• Apply Translation Management Systems, AI, LLMs, and automation to streamline workflows and improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Adapt U.S. English content for other English-speaking markets, including terminology, messaging, cultural context, and regional requirements.
• Manage linguistic assets such as translation memories, terminology databases, regional style guides, reference materials, and visual context.
• Coordinate agencies, freelance linguists, interpreters, and LQA providers, including interpretation services for global and regional meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Linguistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in localization, linguistic services, global content operations, project management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of localization, regional content adaptation, terminology management, linguistic quality, and cultural considerations across global markets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is required for regular interaction with English-speaking stakeholders, coworkers, managers, and clients.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems, preferably Smartling or a comparable AI-enabled platform.
• Practical experience with generative AI and LLM-based tools.
• Experience with Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project and workflow management tools.
