Salary: $60,000.00-$73,100.00 per year

What you will do
- Report and write news stories and features under deadline.
- Perform general assignment and beat reporting for assigned publications.
- Research and write in-depth analytical pieces under supervision.
- Attend external meetings, hearings, and news events and report on them accurately.
- Use the publishing system after completing company training.
Requirements
- At least one year of journalism experience.
- Basic knowledge of journalism principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of federal and state legislative, regulatory, and judicial processes.
- Excellent proofreading skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in English or journalism preferred.
