Focus on evaluating complex cancer-related conditions, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and delivering services across Federally Qualified Health Centers in the Greater Boston area.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 100% onsite with travel to local Federally Qualified Health Centers throughout the Greater Boston area
Salary: $126,100–$204,732.50 per year

What you will do
- Evaluate adult patients referred for new, existing, or prior cancer diagnoses, benign hematologic conditions, breast concerns, and other cancer-related symptoms.
- Provide cancer screening, diagnostic workups, follow-up care, and reconnection to cancer treatment.
- Coordinate referrals for second opinions and deliver cancer survivorship care.
- Provide anticipatory guidance, patient and family education, and psychological and emotional support.
- Manage acute and chronic outpatient conditions in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Use critical thinking, research principles, and leadership to improve care quality across community settings.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: authorization, current national certification, and licensure to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- For Nurse Practitioners: a master’s degree in nursing, at least 24 pharmacotherapeutics contact hours, and at least one year of oncology nursing or Nurse Practitioner experience.
- For Physician Assistants: a master’s degree, completion of an AAPA/NCCPA-accredited program, NCCPA certification, and Massachusetts licensure.
- Current DEA and Massachusetts controlled-substance credentials are required for the applicable role.
- PA III requires five years of qualifying professional Physician Assistant experience.
- Onsite work and travel to participating community clinics in the Greater Boston area are required.
Nice to have
- Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Oncology nursing certification such as OCN, AOCN, CPON, BMTCN, or CPHON.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
- Experience practicing in community-based clinics.
