What you will do
- Act as the operational interface with suppliers.
- Assess suppliers during tendering and contribute to selection decisions.
- Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring on-time and quality performance.
- Manage supplier quality approvals and verify compliance with required certifications.
- Monitor new product introductions, transfers of work, and changes to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial production.
- Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance, and contribute to supplier development initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain operations, procurement, and supplier development.
- Ability to work directly with suppliers and access the shop floor onsite.
- Capability to manage and influence high-level stakeholder relationships.
- Successful candidates must undergo BPSS and Export Control checks, including a criminal record check.
