Territory Manager (Molecular Diagnostics)

Location: Remote, based in the Lisbon area, Portugal; responsible for the southern Portugal territory. Travel up to 60% is required.

What you will do

• Drive sales strategies and execution to achieve commercial goals across the territory.
• Educate and train clinicians and other clinical stakeholders on the impact and use of Cepheid products.
• Build relationships with clinicians and key opinion leaders to drive product advocacy.
• Create and support business opportunities through clinical engagement and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Medical and Scientific Affairs on clinical case studies and product positioning.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Field Application Specialists to optimize the customer experience and increase assay utilization.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Infectious Diseases.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Portuguese healthcare market.
• Proven knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology, and infectious diseases.
• Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; the ability to speak Spanish is required.
• Valid driving license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel up to 60%.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hematology and oncology.
• Clinical experience implementing change in hospital or healthcare environments.
