Production Management Trainee (Manufacturing)

Location: Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually, dependent on experience; the range may be adjusted based on cost of living. Annual performance bonus opportunity is also available.

What you will do

• Build knowledge of company products, procedures, panel and lumber grades, lumber math, cuts, yields, and material utilization.
• Learn production scheduling, product costing, budgeting, expense control, and administrative business systems.
• Supervise activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Develop working knowledge of continuous improvement, efficiency standards, safety, and human resources practices.
• Tour other facilities and customer locations to gain a broader understanding of operations.
• Complete assigned courses and tasks and prepare required reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Willingness to complete structured on-the-job training, courses, and assignments.
