Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Analyse and validate metallic parts for fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Assess composite and hybrid aircraft structures.
• Write and review stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.
• Define structural justification approaches and track activity progress with Technical Authority support.
• Assess manufacturing non-conformities affecting structural elements.
• Collaborate with design engineers, internal and external stakeholders, experts, and civil or military authorities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in fatigue and damage tolerance engineering.
• Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, as well as digital tools and solutions.
• Advanced written and spoken English and Spanish are required.
• Autonomous, adaptable, open-minded, synthetic thinker with strong communication skills.
• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is valuable.
