Location: Boston, Massachusetts; hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $45,500–$54,400 per year

What you will do

  • Coordinate scheduling and rescheduling for new patient visits, from individual physician appointments to multi-provider care plans.
  • Provide administrative support for patient intake, incoming calls, emails, referrals, and clinical information collection.
  • Triage patient questions and issues, resolve requests in real time when possible, and escalate matters appropriately.
  • Recognize emergencies and respond according to standard operating procedures and critical-thinking guidelines.
  • Coordinate medical records, tissue receipt, appointment packets, materials requests, and EMR portal enrollment.
  • Collaborate with clinical practitioners and the New Patient Coordinator team to maintain coverage, service levels, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, customer service, and phone etiquette.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to learn and implement new concepts and process changes quickly.
  • PC proficiency and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
