Director of Treasury Accounting

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the global treasury accounting function, including accounting policies, close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting analytics, controls, and audit support.
• Set the three- to five-year roadmap for treasury accounting capabilities, operating model maturity, automation, data quality, and talent development.
• Establish governance and accounting playbooks for debt, derivatives, hedging, foreign exchange, cash pooling, intercompany financing, investments, and related transactions.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, technical accounting conclusions, disclosures, management reporting, and balance sheet analysis.
• Own SOX-aligned controls, external audit coordination, reconciliation quality, data validation, system interfaces, and issue resolution.
• Lead integrations and automation across ERP, Kyriba, BlackLine, banking platforms, consolidation tools, and reporting dashboards while advising senior finance leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, treasury accounting, technical accounting, audit, or financial reporting within a complex global company.
• Experience leading managers or senior professionals across close, reporting, controls, systems, or treasury accounting processes.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, treasury-related accounting, internal controls, reconciliations, close processes, financial statement presentation, and audit requirements.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification is strongly preferred; CTP or another treasury credential is helpful.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, manufacturing, or another regulated global environment.
• Experience with debt, derivatives, hedge accounting, foreign exchange, intercompany financing, cash pooling, investments, and cash flow statement reporting.
• Experience with ERP, Kyriba, BlackLine, bank platforms, consolidation systems, reporting dashboards, public company controls, SOX requirements, and external audit cycles.
