Expense and Treasury Finance, Vice President

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

Alternative asset management firm with investment strategies spanning real estate, private equity, credit, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, secondaries, and hedge funds.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for treasury and expense accounting.
• Oversee accounting and reporting for investments, funding structures, liquidity, hedging, intercompany arrangements, and complex treasury activities.
• Manage internal and external reporting, financial schedules, SEC filing support, and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvements and scalable technology solutions that increase efficiency, transparency, and data integrity.
• Enhance and maintain the accounting module of the Treasury Management System.
• Partner with FP&A, technology, business units, and finance stakeholders on forecasting, variance analysis, settlements, and operational coordination.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in treasury accounting, expense accounting, or a relevant industry.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting for investments and financial instruments, and U.S. market practices.
• Experience with fixed income, equities, derivatives, foreign exchange hedging, and related accounting considerations.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
