Open Rank, Clinical Track, Undergraduate Faculty (Nursing)

Location: Stephenville, Texas, with possible teaching assignments at other Tarleton campuses and required travel

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses and clinicals using appropriate teaching methods, technology, and instructional tools.
• Develop, review, and update course content and evaluate student learning outcomes and competency.
• Maintain office hours and support student advising, orientation, and student success initiatives.
• Participate in college committees, recruitment, mentoring, club sponsorship, and other institutional service activities.
• Teach at various campus locations or through approved online modalities as determined by operational needs.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority and maintain ongoing professional achievement in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree, such as a PhD or DNP, from an accredited institution.
• Three to five years of successful college teaching experience for Assistant Professor appointments; five to eight years for Associate Professor; eight or more years for Professor.
• BLS certification.
• License to practice nursing in the State of Texas is required for Assistant Professor and Professor appointments.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence, disciplinary expertise, and continuing scholarly contribution.
• Ability to travel and teach at Tarleton campuses in accordance with institutional needs; work may include weekday and occasional weekend hours.
