Maintenance Method Engineer - Rotating Equipment (Petrochemical)

Location: Fully remote; posting location: Adana, Türkiye

Full-time assignment for 6 months, working 5 days per week. Expected start between 15 September and 1 October 2026.

hirify.global is supporting a leading international energy services company on the Ceyhan PDH-PP petrochemical project.

What you will do

• Define and update maintenance methods, procedures, job plans, and structured work packs for pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliary systems.
• Support complex maintenance interventions, analyze equipment performance, and recommend corrective and reliability improvements.
• Lead or contribute to Root Cause Failure Analysis and develop reliability indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies, including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
• Manage spare-parts strategies, special tools, maintenance facilities, and operational-readiness reviews before plant start-up.
• Interface with OEMs and service providers while supporting HSE, quality, regulatory, risk assessment, and HAZOP activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a petrochemical plant, refinery, or power plant environment, including 3 years in maintenance methods, rotating equipment maintenance, or reliability engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, auxiliary systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, RCM, troubleshooting, RCFA, and condition monitoring.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM or Maximo, maintenance planning, and spare-parts management.
• Knowledge of API, ISO, and ASME standards, plus strong technical documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and HSE skills.
• Professional fluency in French and English is required.
