Manufacturing Operator (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands; onsite, shift-based schedule

Base pay: €35,000–€53,360 per year, plus an annual bonus with a target based on pay grade and location

What you will do

• Execute routine operational tasks to meet production targets under general supervision.
• Follow standard operating procedures to process materials and pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor resources, identify issues, and escalate concerns to leadership.
• Maintain accurate records, track performance metrics, and identify gaps between targets and outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• MBO-2 degree with at least three years of relevant experience, or five years of relevant experience with a non-related degree.
• Working proficiency at B1 level or higher in Dutch or English is required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and routine business applications.
• Strong attention to detail, a quality-focused mindset, adaptability, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Willingness and ability to work in a shift-based schedule.

Nice to have

• Understanding of GMP and regulatory environments.
• Experience with administrative support, data compilation, analytics dashboards, gap analysis, operational excellence, or process optimization.
