Associate Process Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Groningen, Netherlands; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: €38,300–€61,410 annual base pay

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day engineering support for assigned manufacturing, process, and packaging areas.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve equipment, process, and product issues using structured problem-solving and data analysis.
• Implement process, equipment, and product improvements to increase efficiency, yield, reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Support qualification and validation activities, change controls, impact assessments, and implementation documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, vendors, and external partners.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Materials Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience.
• Fundamental understanding of manufacturing or engineering principles.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including data analysis and visualization.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate technical findings clearly, and produce compliant technical documentation.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to validation, change control, or process improvement activities.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
