Service Technician Medical Devices (Medical Devices)

Location: Amersfoort, Utrecht, Netherlands

Salary: €35,000–€53,360 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Perform pre- and post-repair tests on medical devices using defined procedures, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and robotic system issues to module level, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Disassemble and assemble devices precisely according to torque specifications, ESD requirements, safety protocols, and workmanship standards.
• Document findings, test results, parts usage, and device histories in Salesforce and quality or maintenance systems.
• Request, track, and reconcile spare parts used for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices, EHS/ESD requirements, and applicable quality-system procedures.

Requirements

• Technical background in electromechanics, mechanical or electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technician apprenticeship.
• Experience with bench diagnostics and repair of electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, reliability, and adherence to standardized work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a structured, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English is required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
