Senior Business Analyst & SQL Specialist – French Language

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Gather requirements with business teams and translate challenges into functional specifications.
• Write complex SQL queries using filters, groupings, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.
• Analyze data for business insights and troubleshooting.
• Map current and future workflows and identify process improvements.
• Participate in testing, validate data integrity, and support quality assurance.
• Document specifications, use cases, user guides, and deployment materials in French.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or data-focused consultant.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including autonomous queries with joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional documentation.
• Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• French at minimum B2 level, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with process modeling tools or methodologies.
• Experience in international or financial services environments.
