What you will do

  • Oversee daily infusion pharmacy operations, workflows, staffing schedules, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, hire, onboard, train, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, research, nursing, and other healthcare teams to optimize medication management and patient safety.
  • Develop pharmacy policies, standard operating procedures, protocols, guidelines, and order sets.
  • Lead technology implementations, process improvements, compliance initiatives, and departmental projects.
  • Monitor pharmacy metrics, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate professional development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 5 years of pharmacy experience, including 3 years in a related practice and supervisory role.
  • Active license to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Knowledge of medication management, oncology therapeutics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and change-management skills.
  • Proficiency with healthcare IT applications, including Epic Beacon/Willow and pharmacy information systems.

Nice to have

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Certification in a related pharmacy specialty or advanced specialty-practice training.
