Procurement and Supply Chain Manager (Marine)

Location: Heerenveen, Netherlands; partial work from home is possible.

Salary: €83,000–€97,000 annually, payable in 12.96 instalments.

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for direct and indirect procurement.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier performance reviews, and supplier development initiatives.
• Manage demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, replenishment, and supply continuity.
• Monitor inventory health, obsolescence, safety stock, product availability, and monthly inventory forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, ERP adoption, process standardization, and KPI-based decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and develop procurement, planning, and supply chain teams while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations Management.
• At least 5 years of procurement management experience in a supply chain environment, preferably internationally.
• Experience with supplier relationship management, supplier agreements, cost analysis, contract writing, and negotiations.
• Ability to use Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, warehouse and inventory management systems, and ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of ROI and MRP systems is preferred.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing, is mandatory.
