Senior Logistics Specialist Carrier Management, Final Mile

Location: Buckeye, Arizona, or Ship Center Arizona / Ship Center Texas hybrid

What you will do

• Develop and implement domestic transportation strategies.
• Negotiate rates and service contracts with carriers and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipments, coordinate deliveries, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Optimize routing, scheduling, and transportation methods using a transportation management system.
• Supervise transportation coordinators and provide guidance and support.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and resolve delays, damages, and shipment discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in domestic transportation management, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
• Experience with transportation management software; Manhattan TMS is preferred.
• Data analysis, negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
