Global Senior Logistics Manager

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office. Highly qualified candidates outside St. Louis may be considered. Regional and international travel of approximately 30% is required.

What you will do

• Manage the global transportation strategy and implement it through hirify.global’s transportation management system.
• Lead a global logistics team executing sourcing activities through a standardized sourcing process.
• Manage logistics service providers and maintain strategic relationships with global and regional partners.
• Collaborate with business unit supply chain, logistics, operations, and sales and operations leaders.
• Identify transportation cost-saving opportunities and implement sustainable improvements to supply chain performance.
• Use data analytics and root-cause analysis to improve operational performance, delivery, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in logistics or transportation management, including experience with global and regional logistics providers.
• Global experience and demonstrated management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
