Transportation Customer Service Representative

What you will do

• Manage customer interactions, track load progress, and provide shipment status and delivery-time updates.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer questions and concerns.
• Identify service disruptions and coordinate resolutions with load planning, internal teams, and external transportation partners.
• Maintain accurate real-time system records and complete data entry and research for delayed loads.
• Track service performance indicators, identify recurring issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Support transportation portals, tracking tools, automated notifications, and SOP maintenance for assigned plants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or customer service.
• Understanding of freight movement, delivery schedules, and transportation terminology.
• Familiarity with load tracking systems and transportation management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
