Debt Capital Markets Associates / Senior Associates

Location: London, with hybrid working of up to 40% from home and 60% in the office

Working hours are 35 hours per week, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, with additional hours potentially required.

What you will do

• Advise on debt capital markets, structured finance, and derivatives transactions.
• Apply and further develop knowledge of relevant legal principles and specialist areas.
• Monitor legal developments and participate in appropriate training.
• Manage assigned matters, deadlines, budgets, time recording, and project issues.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to client development, knowledge sharing, and the firm's reputation.

Requirements

• Experienced associate with at least three years of post-qualification experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience gained within a top-tier law firm is required.
• Strong academic background with excellent written communication and legal drafting skills.
• Outstanding technical skills and knowledge relevant to debt capital markets.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, project management, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, manage pressure, and build client relationships.
