What you will do

• Advise the EMEA business and coordinate working groups on the impact and implementation of new laws and regulations, particularly ESG legislation.
• Work with the ESG team to update internal compliance with ESG requirements.
• Ensure ESG rules, disclosures, and disclaimers are incorporated into legal documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate distribution agreements, investment management agreements, rebate agreements, confidentiality agreements, and side letters.
• Review and draft legal responses to RFP and marketing questions.
• Coordinate with external counsel and collaborate with global Legal and Compliance colleagues.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of post-qualification experience with legal experience gained in-house and/or in private practice.
• Familiarity with ESG legislation, including SFDR and TCFD, and interest in developing ESG legal expertise.
• Knowledge of fund structures such as UCITS, SICAV, master-feeder, US mutual funds, and segregated accounts.
• Understanding of fund domiciles including Ireland, Luxembourg, Cayman, and the United States.
• Strong legal drafting, research, communication, negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must already have the right to work in the United Kingdom without current or future sponsorship.
