Salary: $88,000–$110,100 per year

What you will do

  • Manage laboratory operations, expenditures, inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, and good laboratory practices.
  • Oversee blood and bone marrow sample logging, processing, custody, inventory, and compliance across biobanking efforts and clinical trials.
  • Manage grant and contract deliverables, materials transfer agreements, workflows, SOPs, records, and research data.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and support the recruitment and performance review of laboratory technicians and staff scientists.
  • Support the PI with research collaborations, administrative responsibilities, and scientific operations.
  • Perform or oversee mouse colony management, genotyping, breeding, sequencing library preparation, western blot, PCR, flow cytometry, and tissue culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a biological sciences research laboratory, including a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience managing or facilitating data transfer or materials transfer agreements.
  • Familiarity with cancer research laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, safety, compliance, and record keeping.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR activities and experience with laboratory automation are preferred.
