Strategy Manager (Sports Media)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid role based in the New York office

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Support strategy and commercial analysis for the U.S. regional sports business.
• Build financial models evaluating sports rights opportunities, deal economics, and business performance.
• Conduct pricing, packaging, market, and scenario analyses and develop recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for rights holders, partners, negotiations, executive leadership, and board presentations.
• Assess new rights, M&A, and partnership opportunities, including deal terms, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Work with product and cross-functional teams on roadmap priorities and monitor trends in sports media and streaming.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Tier 1 strategy consulting, investment banking, or an in-house strategy/corporate development team.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with strategic analytical frameworks, financial forecasting, market analysis, scenario planning, and go-to-market assessments.
• Ability to turn complex data into clear insights and communicate effectively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Interest in and understanding of sports and the broader media industry.
