Advisory Manager (Pharma)

Location: South San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid model combining work from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices. Travel is required for client-facing work.

Salary: $200,000–$229,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead consulting project teams supporting pharmaceutical organizations across Commercial and R&D.
• Partner with senior executives to shape strategic choices, align stakeholders, and address industry trends.
• Solve complex and ambiguous business problems using data, qualitative insights, and creative analysis.
• Develop compelling deliverables and present recommendations that support confident, measurable decisions.
• Build client relationships, identify new opportunities, and grow a strong book of work.
• Coach project teams and contribute to talent development, culture, and firm growth.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of relevant experience in a management consulting firm, or 4+ years of post-MBA or PhD experience.
• MBA or advanced degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field; relevant PhD candidates may also qualify.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, business judgment, and executive communication skills.
• Experience interpreting strategic documents and financial statements and applying macro-industry or functional trends to client contexts.
• Proven experience leading and managing teams, with a strong focus on developing talent.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
