Salary: $84,900–$120,567 per year for the Nuclear Technical Instructor level; $97,600–$138,600 per year for the Senior Nuclear Technical Instructor level.

What you will do
- Deliver initial, continuing, classroom, laboratory, and just-in-time training for maintenance and technical personnel.
- Design and update lesson plans, practical exercises, multimedia materials, examinations, and mock-up equipment for hands-on training.
- Apply the systematic approach to training to analyze jobs and tasks, define measurable behaviors, and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Assess performance problems and training needs, respond to emergent requirements, and maintain training schedules and qualification records.
- Support training program accreditation, self-assessments, performance indicators, and applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
- Support plant refueling outages and the site Emergency Response Organization as needed.
Requirements
- At least five years of related work experience; the senior level requires five or more years, including three years of training-related experience.
- Knowledge or experience with power plant equipment, including installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, configuration, and repair.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training and applying systematic approach to training principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Senior-level candidates need a diploma or GED plus an associate degree or equivalent combination of instructional or nuclear-facility experience.
- Senior-level candidates must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant and must be NANT-qualified or obtain qualification within one year.

- Radiation Protection or Mechanical Maintenance experience.
