TL;DR
Training Coordinator (Nuclear): Managing employee qualification pathways, training plans, schedules, and records in a Learning Management System with an accent on regulatory compliance, systematic training, and operational excellence. Focus on transferring training data, maintaining qualification records, coordinating classroom and vendor training, and improving LMS capabilities with the AI department.

Location: On-site in Idaho Falls, Idaho; candidates must be based in the United States and be willing to work on-site.

What you will do

  • Update and maintain employee training data, rosters, qualification records, schedules, and training histories in the Learning Management System.
  • Create qualification pathways, individual training plans, job codes, and qualified watchlists with department management.
  • Schedule classroom and vendor-provided training sessions and verify training case files before course entry.
  • Ensure training activities comply with company procedures and applicable DOE, NRC, state, and federal regulations.
  • Apply Conduct of Operations and Maintenance, ISMS, Human Performance, Systematic Approach to Training, and Graded Approach principles.
  • Work with the AI department to improve LMS functionality, train new users, and learn to code future LMS enhancements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to work on-site in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Persons in compliance with 10 CFR Part 810 and may not hold non-compliant foreign citizenships.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, multitasking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate remotely while working on-site.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of training administration experience.
  • Learning Management System administration experience.
  • Baccalaureate degree or certificate in administrative practices.
  • Experience with nuclear operations, Conduct of Operations, Systematic Approach to Training, NE O 426.2, and ASME NQA-1 2022 Requirement 2.
