Senior Platform & Analytics Analyst

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA; onsite role with regular standing and walking, physical equipment handling, and occasional travel.

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing data to build dashboards, reports, predictive models, and recommendations for production, supply chain, and inventory optimization.
• Manage and optimize analytics platforms including Power BI and Databricks, maintaining data integrity, scalability, security, and effective ETL processes.
• Integrate and optimize cloud-based data platforms while defining data requirements and enforcing data quality and governance standards.
• Translate business needs from manufacturing, engineering operations, marketing, sales, and product development into technical analytics solutions.
• Lead machine learning and AI analytics projects, including predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
• Promote analytics self-service, monitor KPIs, present insights to leadership, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis.
• Expertise with analytics platforms and cloud services such as Power BI, Databricks, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of data lakehouse and warehousing architectures, ETL, data management, statistical modeling, machine learning frameworks, and data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, including presenting data to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or certification in data analytics or a relevant analytics platform.
• Experience with industrial IoT data or systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Windchill.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated business impact from analytics solutions, such as cost savings or efficiency gains.
