Infusion Pharmacy Technician (Per Diem) (Pharmacy)

Salary: $53,019.20–$64,313.60 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support for pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fill medication orders, develop proficiency in advanced preparations, and ensure timely delivery of medications and supplies.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, primarily involving hazardous drugs, in accordance with USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>, institutional policies, and applicable research protocols.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, automated dispensing cabinets, and sterile and non-sterile work areas.
• Use electronic health record, inventory management, and other pharmacy technology systems to document work and identify issues.
• Perform quality control, support inventory ordering and receiving, provide downtime support, and cross-cover other pharmacy areas as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee, or a Massachusetts Pharmacy Intern License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB must be obtained within two years of hire.
• Ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations and develop proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, communicate effectively, exercise critical thinking, and work collaboratively with attention to detail.
• Roles at Londonderry or Merrimack Valley satellite locations require New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy registration.
