Admixture Technician (Pharmacy Technician)

What you will do

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures, including chemotherapy, biotherapeutic agents, mini bags, syringes, irrigations, and fluids.
• Apply USP 797 aseptic technique, select appropriate diluents, and perform reconstitution and dosage calculations.
• Receive, stock, and manage pharmaceuticals and infusion supplies, including inventory control and expiration monitoring.
• Maintain controlled-substance records, conduct physical inventories, and complete daily dispensing and charge reconciliation in Lynx.
• Ensure proper handling, preparation, delivery, documentation, and storage of investigational agents.
• Support oral and inter-office prescription dispensing, pharmacy records, communications, and workspace organization.

Requirements

• AA degree or Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• California Board of Pharmacy license required.
• Two years of pharmacy experience required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment with exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medicinal preparations.

Nice to have

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.
• Two years of experience preparing IV admixtures, including chemotherapy.
