Pharmacy Technician Certified I - Hospital Pharmacy - Per Diem

What you will do

• Process and prepare patient-specific medications according to provider orders for pharmacist verification.
• Distribute prepared medications to locations across the health system.
• Maintain medication inventory in automated dispensing cabinets using Omnicell automation.
• Triage telephone calls and electronic communications from nursing staff to the appropriate pharmacy personnel or pharmacists.
• Perform monthly floor inspections in assigned areas and provide operational support to pharmacists during assigned shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registration with the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy.
• National and New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy certification.
• One year of previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of New Hampshire drug laws is preferred.
