Maintenance Tech / Mechanic (Manufacturing)

Salary: $24.00–$26.00 per hour, dependent on experience

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance assigned by a supervisor.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose wear or damage in machine parts.
• Read and understand basic machine schematics with limited guidance.
• Organize parts and materials and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments while supporting safety and operational objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of industrial equipment maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Safe and effective use of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and small tools.
• Ability to lift, move, push, pull, carry, and manipulate materials weighing up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds unaccompanied.
• Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, stay organized, and learn new procedures.
