Gas Process and Control Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Provide measurement and controls leadership for gas pipeline design, construction project management, and gas process design.
• Partner with gas planning to monitor the gas transmission system, maintain regulatory compliance, and support reliable operations.
• Identify facility expansions, upgrades, and replacements to meet system requirements and customer needs.
• Assign work, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and corrective actions across multiple capital projects valued at approximately $10 million annually.
• Lead a group of 10–15 engineers and designers, including hiring, development, coaching, performance management, and staffing.
• Develop engineering standards and procedures for project and engineering deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 8–10 years of engineering design experience, including 4 years of instrumentation and measurement project management experience.
• At least 2 years of lead, supervisory, or management experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Experience in gas transmission or distribution and an understanding of applicable codes and corporate policies.
• Experience managing third-party contractors and consultants is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Electrical or Chemical Engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Controls engineering, facilities, or compression experience.
