Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; travel across New Mexico is required, with work at various job sites.

Salary: $135,600–$169,500 per year, based on skills, experience, and education.

What you will do

  • Lead project engineering and project management for large construction capital projects, maintaining schedule, budget, scope, and performance controls.
  • Oversee project execution, contract negotiations, and compliance monitoring for service and equipment providers.
  • Guide equipment and design decisions to improve project reliability and operability.
  • Represent the company in meetings with officers, departments, customers, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
  • Conduct job hazard analyses, reinforce safety procedures, and support safety committee activities.
  • Manage O&M and capital budgets, forecasts, variance explanations, and CWIP reporting while mentoring and developing direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • At least 5 years of progressively complex experience in project management, engineering, and/or natural gas operations.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or project leadership experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work around high-pressure gas pipelines up to 1185 psig and use required personal protective equipment.
  • Availability for overtime, on-call coverage as needed, and travel of up to 50% across New Mexico.

Nice to have

  • PMP certification.
  • New Mexico PE license or ability to transfer a PE license from another state within 12 months.
  • Graduate degree in Engineering or an MBA.
  • NACE CP1, CP2, or CP3; GTI RGDP; or GTI CGTP certification.
