HVAC Service Controls Technician

Location: Bradenton, Florida, United States; travel to local job sites and central Florida may be required.

What you will do

• Program, integrate, start up, commission, and service HVAC and Direct Digital Control systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and program building automation systems and HVAC equipment.
• Provide owner training and prepare project record documentation.
• Maintain communication with clients and project managers while supporting project delivery and client relationships.
• Follow company safety requirements while working at construction sites and in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HVAC/R controls or service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, electricity, electrical circuits, and HVAC mechanics.
• Experience with building automation systems from manufacturers such as Automated Logic, Alerton, Delta, Distech, Reliable, Computrol, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, or Tridium.
• Experience with BACnet, LON, or Modbus; familiarity with iPad operation, Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Tridium AX or N4 certification is required as an additional qualification.
