General Manager (Salaried) (Retail)

Location: Queens, NY, United States; on-site retail leadership across two or more stores.

Salary: $61,360–$82,160 annually, based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead operations and customer experience across two or more stores.
• Build talent pipelines, recruit employees, and create succession plans through team development.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace while recognizing performance and improving engagement.
• Direct merchandising, payroll, budgets, Leader on Duty programs, and omnichannel retail execution.
• Coach teams on product knowledge, customer loyalty programs, and customer service.
• Analyze KPIs, identify performance-driving behaviors, and reduce loss through operational controls.

Requirements

• At least five years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Leadership, supervisory, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, web navigation, and other workplace technologies.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, including at least two closing shifts per week.
