Facility Engineer II

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi; onsite plant role. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime when required.

Estimated base salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually, with possible discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and objectives for plant facility, utility, and capital projects.
• Use Building Management Systems to monitor environmental conditions and generate and analyze trend reports.
• Implement improvement and energy-conservation projects involving electricity, HVAC, compressed air, steam, potable water, chilled water, pest control, and water for injection.
• Program utility controls and monitoring systems using Allen-Bradley industrial processors and SCADA.
• Interpret and update building prints and utility drawings; support equipment procurement and installation.
• Maintain cGMP compliance and audit readiness, manage work orders and preventive maintenance, train facility personnel, and support safety, environmental, VIP, TPM, 6-S, and energy initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of engineering experience, preferably in FDA-regulated manufacturing.
• Interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills using cause mapping and the ability to analyze and interpret scientific and statistical data.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; bend, stoop, reach above the shoulder, maneuver in tight spaces, and sit, stand, or walk for long periods.
• Ability to work in a controlled setting requiring special gowning and adherence to gowning protocols.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 6S.
• Working knowledge of facility utilities and energy conservation.
