Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually, with possible discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain schedules for plant facilities and utility projects, managing capital budgets and timelines.
  • Use the Building Management System to monitor environmental conditions and generate trend reports.
  • Develop and implement improvement projects involving energy conservation, electricity, HVAC, compressed air, steam, potable water, chilled water, pest control, and water for injection.
  • Program utility controls and monitoring systems using Allen-Bradley industrial processors and SCADA.
  • Interpret and update building prints and utility drawings, procure and install equipment, and apply work order, change control, validation, and corrective/preventive action systems.
  • Lead project teams, support maintenance training, and maintain facility and equipment compliance with cGMP standards and audit-readiness requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, or chemical, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of engineering experience, preferably in FDA-regulated manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze scientific and statistical data and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and compliance with gowning protocols.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, work different shifts and overtime as needed, and maneuver around ladders and tight spaces.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6S.
  • Working knowledge of facility utilities and energy conservation.
