Accounting Supervisor

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid role with home office opportunity 3 days per week

What you will do

• Supervise the Finance & Accounting function and oversee finance activities for hirify.global legal entities in Poland.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing under US GAAP and hirify.global financial standards.
• Support Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes and coordinate critical bank payments, taxes, payroll, and statutory obligations.
• Lead statutory reporting, local tax filings, reconciliations between US GAAP, local GAAP, and tax reporting, and compliance activities.
• Manage internal and external audits, government inspections, and Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing and remediation.
• Partner with the Country Manager on legal entity compliance, contracts, treasury, payroll, incentives, financial reporting, capital expenditure, and regional finance projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial operations.
• At least 3 years of people leadership or team management experience.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Strong knowledge of Polish tax regulations, statutory reporting, and local regulatory compliance required.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
