Senior VAT Specialist

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with a minimum of 47 remote days per year

hirify.global designs electrical distribution systems for vehicles, robotics, energy platforms, and other electrified, automated, and connected products.

What you will do

• Prepare and submit VAT returns across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
• Prepare Intrastat reports, summary information, and other VAT-related reports.
• Perform VAT reconciliations and support tax audits and management reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and tax colleagues and external service providers.
• Design and implement standardized VAT procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA region.
• Assist with ERP system modifications required by legislative and business transaction changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in VAT and accounting, preferably in a shared services or multinational company.
• At least 3 years of experience preparing VAT or GST returns under different legislations.
• Working knowledge of SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills.
• Good command of English required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Tax, Accounting, or Economics, or a certified accountant or tax advisor qualification.
• Fast-learning, proactive approach to adopting changes.

• Good command of another European language.
