Senior Accountant, Controlling, Switzerland (MedTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days from the office

Salary: Minimum 176,000 PLN annually, with eligibility for bonuses and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own US GAAP, local statutory, and tax accounting and reporting for assigned legal entities.
• Prepare and review local GAAP statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage tax provisions, accruals, corporate income tax returns, and related compliance obligations.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve complex accounting, statutory, and tax matters.
• Partner with auditors, tax authorities, external advisors, and stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Shared Services.
• Drive process standardization, automation, operational excellence, and finance transformation projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, or external audit within a multinational environment.
• Strong experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors in a complex matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
