Senior Accountant, Controlling, Switzerland (MedTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week from the office

Salary: Minimum 176,000 PLN annually, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Own US GAAP, local statutory, tax accounting, and reporting for assigned legal entities.
• Prepare and review statutory and consolidated financial statements, account reconciliations, tax provisions, accruals, and corporate income tax returns.
• Partner with external auditors, tax authorities, advisors, and stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Shared Services.
• Resolve complex accounting, statutory, and tax matters while ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, audit standards, and local regulations.
• Drive process simplification, standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support finance transformation projects, system implementations, business initiatives, and decision-making through financial analysis.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, or external audit within a multinational environment.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors in a complex, matrixed organization.
• English required; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.
