Corporate Affairs, Director – Obesity and Related Conditions (Biotech)

Location: United States — Remote; occasional travel to Thousand Oaks Headquarters and key events is expected.

Annual salary: USD 180,551.90–244,276.10.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global communications strategies for MariTide across assigned obesity-related indications.
• Create indication-specific narratives and key messages aligned with the overall MariTide communications strategy.
• Plan communications for clinical data, product-development updates, regulatory milestones, and medical congress activity.
• Partner with Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs, and affiliate teams.
• Support disease education, thought leadership, internal communications, and consistent stakeholder messaging.
• Enable regional and affiliate communications teams with guidance and resources for local execution.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of communications or public relations experience, or a master’s degree and 7 years, or a bachelor’s degree and 9 years.
• 10–12 years of communications, public relations, or corporate affairs experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare is preferred.
• Experience developing integrated global communications strategies for investigational products, including clinical data, regulatory, and launch communications.
• Experience collaborating with global affiliates and influencing cross-functional and executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong ability to translate complex business and scientific information into clear communications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
