What you will do

  • Oversee post-award administration for an assigned portfolio of sponsored research awards, including clinical trials.
  • Monitor finances, sponsor compliance, reporting, award closeout, and required documentation.
  • Review federal and state regulations and support institutional post-award policies.
  • Manage Federal Notices of Award, account activation documentation, prior approvals, amendments, and FDP non-clinical subawards.
  • Review grant and contract applications, budgets, rates, compliance requirements, and subcontract guidelines.
  • Coordinate with investigators, department administrators, Research Accounting, sponsors, and other institutional stakeholders; provide training and functional supervision.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in post-award grants management.
  • Knowledge of federal and non-federal grant procedures, reports, regulations, accounting principles, budgeting, and grant administration.
  • Ability to manage complex post-award activities, negotiate award terms and subcontracts, and resolve budgetary issues in compliance with sponsor and institutional policies.
  • Employment is associated with Boston, Massachusetts, United States; the role is listed as 100% off-site remote.
