Director, Operational Excellence, NA

Location: Denver, Colorado; hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 flexible days. Travel of up to 10% is expected and may increase over time.

Salary: $180,000–$190,000 base plus bonus. The range is based on Colorado market data and may vary by location.

What you will do

• Establish capability and product ownership structures, decision rights, governance cadences, escalation paths, and integrated maturity roadmaps across Operations.
• Partner with the VP of Operational Excellence and leadership team to translate priorities into coordinated actions, decisions, timelines, and outcomes.
• Analyze operational, portfolio, financial, workforce, vendor, and capacity data to identify risks, trends, trade-offs, and resource-allocation recommendations.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, professional-services commitments, vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party risk activities.
• Lead discovery and problem-solving for strategic cross-functional initiatives, then mobilize execution once ownership and success measures are established.
• Develop OE standards, playbooks, templates, documentation, communications, and reusable tools while improving workflows through standardization, automation, and approved AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, analytics, operations, communications, project management, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10 or more years of progressive experience in strategy and operations, management consulting, enterprise transformation, business operations, portfolio leadership, or a comparable field.
• Experience designing operating models, ownership structures, governance cadences, and integrated roadmaps in complex cross-functional environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional work without direct reporting authority.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, data-analysis, dashboard, reporting, and executive-communication skills.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, procurement, vendors, contracts, business requirements, recommendations, and executive decision materials.

Nice to have

• Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, technology, engineering, construction, or Operations.
• Experience with ClickUp or another work, project, or portfolio-management platform.
• Experience with Ironclad, Yardi, third-party risk-management systems, or comparable platforms.
