What you will do

• Support the development of Santander CIB's Financial Sponsors franchise across Asia Pacific.
• Cover priority global and regional financial sponsor clients and identify financing, advisory, and broader CIB opportunities.
• Maintain client plans, relationship maps, transaction pipelines, opportunity analyses, and market intelligence.
• Support transaction origination and execution through financial analysis, modelling, valuation, credit analysis, due diligence, and documentation.
• Coordinate with global banking, product, sector, credit, risk, and control teams on cross-border opportunities and internal processes.
• Prepare pitches, presentations, client briefings, market updates, and transaction materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial sponsors coverage, leveraged or acquisition finance, infrastructure or structured finance, M&A, or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, credit, financial analysis, financial modelling, valuation, and accounting.
• Experience supporting complex transaction origination and execution across multiple internal teams.
• Strong commercial mindset, client orientation, organization, ownership, judgement, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English is required.
