Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst (Technology)

What you will do

• Conduct independent fundamental research on publicly listed technology companies in Taiwan.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, economic developments, and other investment information.
• Build detailed financial, valuation, and DCF models for assigned coverage companies.
• Prepare research reports and develop actionable investment insights.
• Present written and oral investment recommendations to the investment team and update forecasts as conditions change.
• Monitor global investment climates, market conditions, and relevant macroeconomic and political trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; CFA certification or a relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 5–10 years of research or investment experience in the technology sector, with deep knowledge of the Taiwan market.
• Alternatively, 5–10 years of experience in the strategy office, finance department, or technical sales of a Taiwanese semiconductor or IT hardware company.
• Strong fundamental research, quantitative, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation skills, including DCF models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg, plus experience using AI applications and tools to improve professional output.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required.
