Equity Research Associate, Asia Financals

Location: Central Singapore, Singapore. Hybrid schedule with work from the office 4 days per week and flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week.

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental research and due diligence on companies across the Asia financials sector.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks, peer analyses, and sector knowledge.
• Attend company meetings, industry conferences, and relevant events to identify industry trends and investment opportunities.
• Partner with a senior Global Industry Analyst to turn research insights into investment recommendations.
• Prepare written research and communicate recommendations to the Financials team and broader investment platform.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant buy-side or sell-side equity research experience.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, valuation, and fundamental research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Full fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
• Sound judgment, integrity, attention to detail, independence, resilience, and commitment to continuous learning.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward completing the CFA Program.
• Experience covering the Financials sector.
• Mandarin proficiency.
• Experience using AI and other investment research tools.
